After breakfast and a lot of hood-raising in the parking lot, our group of 26 people in 18 cars set off up Angeles Crest Highway towards Mount Wilson. The overcast skies lasted only until reaching higher altitudes where we broke out above the clouds into beautiful sunny skies. The group arrived at the observatory on the summit of Mount Wilson where we were escorted onto the grounds and parked by the massive 100-inch Hooker Telescope dome.

A line of As and Bs at the event start.

Three MGA Roadsters.

Lots of chrome-bumper Bs!

MGA Coupe, MG TD and even a new Mini!

Insert British car joke here...

Very long line of British cars along Mount Wilson Road.

Driving Mount Wilson Road.

On the observatory grounds. Narrow roads even for a MG!

A group of volunteers from the MG club push-starting a dead Miata. Think that's ironic?

The Miata's license plate reads: "NO LUCAS" !!!

Parking outside the massive 100-inch telescope dome.
